In what's becoming the summer that wasn't, or the summer of wind and waves, we were effectively
"blown off" both days this weekend.  Saturday wasn't even an option, so my son and I opted to
spend the afternoon panfishing (again) on nearby Cassadaga Lake.  Action was good, size
was small.

Sunday looked like it might calm down towards mid-morning, so I held off cancelling my afternoon trip
for a bit....then the wind changed and the whitecaps remained and it became pretty clear that we weren't
going to get the trip in.   Time to mow the lawn.

In those conditions, the waves and wind mess up boat speed, eliminate fishing into them, and effectively
reduces the number of rods you can run....not to mention rocking and rolling all over the place.  Not
the optimal choice.

AND OF COURSE, today (Monday) the lake is FLAT!!!!!!

Off the lake for a few days this week due to other committments, but then we hit it hard for the
next 10 days after that.....hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate!!
