Wow!  Where are the walleye????

For the last few weeks, we've been working hard to get our fish, despite
in many  cases, great screens.   We have not been alone as many really
good local captains and fisherman have been in the same boat.

Today was no exception, great screen, very little action.   We figured there
would be some "hangover" from the full moon, but not this bad.  And again
today, thin walleye, with empty stomachs.

SO the question remains....where did they go??

The good news was that we did get our first 10lb fish of the year, on a
turtle blade watermelon harness, 175 back on the big slides....

We also have one of the largest sheepshead I've ever seen.....easily
pushing that 10lb mark; too bad they weren't good to eat !
