September 19-Chautauqua Lake

Took a look at the lake when I got up this morning, capping from the
northeast, so on top of the recently poor walleye fishing, I knew we
probably wouldn't have gone today anyway....

SO, with that out of the way, Jack and I headed over to Long Point to try
more perch fishing, and to meet upt with my brother and our friend, Doug.

Much like last week, from shore, Jack and I easily caught over 100 fish
in a couple of hours, but again, most were pretty small.   We did keep
a dozen of the bigger ones for dinner.   I also had about a 5-6lb muskie
take a swipe at one of the perch I had on, but missed it.

My brother and Doug fished in the bay, and reported that they had some
better size that we did.    All of the boaters that we talked to at the
ramp that  were walleye or muskie fishing reported very slow fishing.
