October 3 -End of the Season

Well, we've come to the end of another season on Lake Erie.   Gotta be one
of the saddest days of being a boater.   "Times Two" is out of the water,
cleaned and already put into storage.

2010 started out great in June, and was awesome until the middle of August.
There are varying theories as to what happened or why, but all I know is it quit
big time after that!

Again this season, we had some absolutely awesome people on board, and
had a ton of great days as a result.  For those of you that came late in the
season, we really appeciate how you all hung in there on some of the tough
days; and for those of you that we had to cancel out (in some cases multiple
times) due to weather, thanks for the understanding and for the re-bookings.

I remain very fortunate to have great help on board during the charters!  Thanks
Gary, Frank, Gerb, Marty and Tom!    We also have a great tournament team,
which makes those that much more fun (Gary, Joel and Gerb).

Jack and I started our year with Capt. John of Affinity Charters in S. Carolina
in April fishing for "reds", then there was our annual May trip up to French
River, back again to Moon River in July, the "Oak" in August and LOTS of
panfishing with Jack, all on top of our charters and fun fishing on Lake Erie.

Some of the great days from this year.....

In the shameless "plug" section, this was our second year running exclusively
Okuma Convector reels and Blue Diamond rods, which are awesome!   We
also were honored to remain on the Dreamweaver Lures Pro-staff.......those WD's
sure do catch some walleye....and were added to the ZMAN pro-staff in 2010.
ZMAN produces the chattersticks that have been so good on Eastern Lake Erie the
last few years.   Also thanks to Jonathan at 1st Embroidery for the great job on
our shirts!

Coming up?  Well, we've got a least one trip lined up at Chautauqua Lake, and we're
also heading to Raystown Lake, PA for the first time to try some striper fishing.   Plus,
there's still lots of time to get some fishing in on the local tributaries...time to get those
waders out!

We SINCERELY APPRECIATE the business we had this year, and hope you all enjoyed
your day(s) on the lake with us.   Hopefully, we'll see you again soon!

John
