Mother's Day Weekend

Headed over to We-Wan-Chu cottages on Chautauqua Lake for Mother's Day weekend,
with Jack, my brother and a friend to do some perch fishing and hang out.   The fishing
was very good, as well as the average size.  Between the two boats, we figured we
boated over 500 perch in a day and a half of fishing.   We let a lot go, and tried not
to keep anything under 9".

We got fish on both sides of the lake....over by Dewittville on the east side, and along the
shores of Chautauqua Institute on the west side.   Fish were right tight to the bottom.
Interesting to me, many of the the perch we cleaned had bellies full of small zebra mussels
and nothing else.

Jack with one of the larger perch.                      Some of our catch from Saturday morning.

Now it's time to start getting "Times Two" ready!
