Just got back from our annual northern pike fishing trip to French River, Ontario.
Fishing was a bit tougher this year than last year, but still pretty darn good!  We
added an extra day this year, and it seemed to take off some of the urgency to
fish, but added a lot of quality time with my brother and friends.

Overall we caught 290 pike in 4.5 days of fishing, 35 of which were greater
than 22".   At the urging of my brother, we also kept more fish than we normally
do and had pike for serveral meals.   Pretty tasty when its fresh caught and y bone
free!!  Great job on the cleaning, Lukas.

I caught my 3rd muskie on this trip, a 26" fish, but have still not cracked the 10lb
mark on those.
