Fishing improved slightly today, although we still were battling cooler inside water.
Ended up boating 4 walleye, and a nice laker, which based on the water temps, and
other reports was pretty decent.    Got 1 walleye early slightly east of the harbor on a
5 color/chatterstick combo, then it went into a major lull.   We moved west and out to
70+ fow, and things got better.   Took 2 on a 30 jet/chatterstick combo, 145 back; then
got the laker on a 95 slide diver/chatterstick setting, and finished with an 'eye pushing
8lbs on a 100 slide diver/nuke green harness combo.

Jim, Jim and Carl sure hung in there today......Great bunch of guys...lots of story telling, etc.
and we really couldn't have had a much nicer day on the lake (calm, sunny).   Off for a
few days now, then we hit it hard in July.....
