The walleye bite is continuing to improve......slowly...

Trip started out really good as we had 2 walleye in the box before we had all the
rods set.   Unforunately, it slowed pretty quickly and we worked hard to get 4 more
in, plus a bonus brown trout.

We fished 65-85 fow from right out front to a few miles west.  Pretty good screen
to start, then lots of blank screens after that.

10 color with a 5" chatterstick took 3 walleye (plus 1 we lost); the big slides
took 2 and the brown trout on 3" black/silver chatter on 3 at 150 back; and
we got 1 on a Dreamweaver WD green melon off a 60' rigger.

              

We go again Friday, and we have the 2 day Ameracan tournament this
weekend. so we should have some updates for you coming......
