July 10, Day 2

Day 2 of the Ameracan found my team in need of big fish...5 to be exact..
so we opted to try new water to start.   Headed due north to look in the
100 ft range.  Found 1 laker and 5 sheepshead, but not the walleye.

Pulled the rods and headed west towards Van Buren Point.   We managed
to get just over 20lbs to weigh, but again the big one eluded us.   We finished
unofficially, in 43rd place out of 81 boats.   Two big guys each day and
it would have been a whole different story.

40 jets with harnesses were the best, set back at 175.  Watermelon
was the best color.

Winning team boated over 77lbs for the two day tournament, nearly
an 8lb average!
