Had a chance today to do some "fun fishing" with my son and our friend Kory. Got
a late start as we waited to make sure the weather cleared, etc.
We fished for a little over 3 hours and ended up getting 4 nice ones in, plus a couple others
we lost. Fished the outside NE edge of the structure at Van Buren and have a pretty
good screen. Walleye came on a bit of everthing.....10 color down the chute with a
5" green chatterstick, and also a copper orange harness; green melon off the 55 rigger;
and off a 145 diver on 2 with a perch chatterstick.
Also got one of the largest bass we've ever taken. We tried to take a quick pic and
get it in the water quick, but I'm pretty sure it was over 6lbs.
