Sept 18 at the Oak
Went this weekend with Capt. Bud (Alibi) to do some fun fishing "on the wall" for kings at Oak Orchard with Capt. Mick and Capt. Jack of Get Hooked Sportfishing (www.gethookedsportfishing.net). We had an awesome morning!
Headed out about 6:20 or so, and Capt. Mick started setting the rods as we cleared the breakwall. It didn't take very long to get that first bite, about a 12lber.
We ended up landing 7 out of 8, with the biggest pushing about 25lbs.
Got the last one in the net as we turned to head up the chute at about 9 am.
Fished tight to the wall, and slightly west, in 10-15 fow, JPlugs and J-13 rapala's long lined and off
the riggers. Capt. Mick and Jack did a great job, and both Bud and I would recommend that you contact them if you'd like to get into this fish!
