Got out on the local trib with Jack for one of the last times this spring. Suckers are moving up and that is usually a sign its over til the fall. That’s ok, because we’re almost ready to get the boat up to Wilson!
Did hook into this beauty on a sucker spawn/bead combo!
Like everyone else, we suffered through the February cabin fever, and thankfully then got to spend some time in South Carolina. Just a bunch of time just relaxing, and hanging on the beach.
We took a charter with Captain John Ward of Affinity Charters again…I think it was the 11th or 12th time we have gone with him. He got us out on a reef where the sea bass, although not gigantic we very plentiful and put up a good fight on the spinning rigs!
Watched a storm roll in across the marsh one morning and managed to capture this shot of lightening!
We’ve been going to this part of South Carolina for years and enjoy every trip!
